Gardena Sileno Minimo
250 m², Boundary wire
If the lawn area to be processed is not larger than 250 m2, this device is quite sufficient. (in this one, the mowing time was simply limited so that it is not enough for larger areas). I previously had a Husqvarna robotic mower. The wiring in the ground can be adopted. There is a new charging station with a different adapter. The plugs are the same as Husquarna (the blades are also identical). The device goes further over the cable limit than the Husquarna, but this fits well with me, so that the edges of the lawn are also well cut.
I only have level ground. Compared to the Husqvarna, the Gardena has worse large wheels (grip). For me, these spool when you hit an obstacle (stone) on a surface with polished granite slabs (sideways from the charging station). The robot then hangs on the obstacle and spools incessantly. However, such a situation is only a problem if you have integrated the charging station into the cable circuit, as in my case, so that the station is not somewhere on the lawn.
Easy cleaning, hose off with the hose. Upper lid is plugged in and can be lifted off easily. Rest is completely closed, so water does nothing.
The cutting height can be adjusted, but this does not bring anything, because you should not cut too deep down anyway.
If you are good with apps, you should have no trouble controlling the device with your smartphone (setting mowing times). The setting buttons on the robot itself are complicated in design, including saving a code, etc. After turning the robot over, first press the stop button and then enter the code.
The blade set from Gardena or Husqvarna is identical, by the way, there is this much cheaper at amazon.de (e.g. from third party companies in metal and titanium outside). They are shipped directly to Switzerland.
The installation is very simple and relatively quickly done.
The manuals (as long as the mower is running) are also good and practical.
The mower worked fine for the first couple of weeks.
Suddenly it stopped/stays regularly with different error messages.
Also the mower looks very used after only 4 months.

Contra
The countless error messages are very tedious.
The unit is in the middle of the garden but claims to be enclosed. It is in the flat and claims to be upside down. Claims to have no loop signal, but when checked everything fits (probably a loose contact somewhere...), etc.
All in all, rather tedious....

The Minimo is a mimosa.
The thing stops on an open lawn with the error message "Tilt angle exceeded".
Or reports boundary wire interrupted, but the test in the APP then says 100% wire quality.
Has to be restarted again and again by switching off & de-energising, after diffuse error messages in the APP

It broke soon after the warranty expired because the battery died. I asked for a repair and received a quote equal to buying a new one.
Contra
The mower was installed quickly. But the app is pretty buggy and the robot also crashes every three weeks. The only thing that helps is to unscrew the part and disconnect it from the battery. The mowing time is limited by software. If I want to mow the lawn deeper, it takes a good three days to mow it evenly. I have the Sileno for 250m2 but my lawn is only a good 90m2. I advise against buying it.
