good until the first update....
it mows well and looks smart aaaber....
only as long as the blades are new. For a decent lawn it is better to change the blades 1 time per month ( for an area of about 250 m2.
Then my expectation of a device with "Smart" in the name would be that updates Kabellos install themselves via the Smart Station...Mistake. you have to take apart the mower and connect via printer cable to a PC. Mac has not worked for me ->Message : not connected. so please bring the robotic mower to the stand PC on the second floor - or vice versa!
the printer cable is not included - luckily I still had one but until I found this...well.
After the guide cables have grown into the lawn it comes again and again to problem or the mower simply runs over them and then stops: "Outside the mowing area" - Here too: something smart would consider finding the working area again independently.
I have not bought the mower at Digitec Galaxis. would I no longer.
Potential buyers I advise the to look at the procedure with the software updates.

Great device - beware of the warranty extension.
The device is relatively easy to install, but laying the boundary wires takes several hours, depending on the garden.
The noise level is pleasantly low and the robot also copes well with uneven ground. The app cannot do much, but it is definitely enough for simple control from the dry living room. The mowing result is top and the robot copes well with tight spots.
Tip 1: Charge the robotic lawnmower beforehand so that you can start right away.
Tip 2: Youtube video with step by step instructions view before, then create plan, then execute. This is much better than the enclosed instructions.
Tip 3: at various points of the boundary wire, provide an extra loop as a spare and stow it under the bushes, for example. In the event of a cable break, this will be helpful.
Tip 4: do not stretch the cable too tight. This can lead to cable breaks later on.
Tip 5: Attention: the connectors at the back of the charging station tend to bend if you plug them in blindly. Take good care!
Tip 6: if you register your product through Gardena, you will receive a free warranty extension to 3 years.

Installation is a bit more challenging
He has after about 1/2 day installation, the lawn mowed well-behaved :-) however, in a more challenging terrain had to adjust the cable routing adhoc. Smart app and firmware update of the city 500 was a bit ticklish.
For technically savvy feasible and learnable, but just not something you would simply press someone in the hand.
It's not the mower, it's the technology and requirements of the system.Pro
