    not yet assessable

    First impression very good.
No long-term experience yet, and that seems more important to me than the first impression. So I can only give a real evaluation in about a year.
The last device (not Fellowes) already broke
down after about 6 months (plastic gear).

Solid device but not for continuous operation

The product makes a solid impression. It is stable, cuts paper and cards. No CD`s.

Two things are very important and you only notice them when you have the machine at home:
    1. the maximum time for continuous operation
is 4 minutes. After that, the machine switches off for half an hour! This is also stated in the operating instructions.
    2. you can only cut 7 pages at a time. If there are more pages in the stack or if the 7 pages are folded during the process or if the paper is too thick, the machine also switches off for 30 minutes.

As this is my first shredder, I don't know whether the above points are standard on other models. For my temperament, I would actually have needed a somewhat more motivated device. If the above points are standard for document shredders, you can give it five stars. If not, then it remains at three stars.

    Perfectly adequate for private use

Need the shredder for private purposes. It is also completely sufficient. It's a pity that the special oil is not included.

    • Particle cut

    Contra

    • Lubricant not included
