Works, but old generation
Everything works well so far. It's just a pity that I ordered the old 2nd version by mistake, although the 3rd version with thread was already available. In the shop, both versions are listed with identical names. It would be nice if the product designation was clearer here.

Useless with HomeKit
The sensor works very well.
But Apple Homekit does not work with it.
The Home app notifies the detection without any problem, but does not proceed to programming (if detection, then turn on the light).

Range to HomeKit control panel only a few meters ...
The range to the HomeKit central (with me an Apple TV 4K) is less than 6 meters. The Eve has only Bluetooth 4.0 that makes no sense yet
Ideal for controlling automatic processes with the Home Kit from Apple.
Used to passively monitor movement when you are away, or to control lights and music when you are present

Works well, I use it to control the lights. But needs a device like AppleTV or IPAD nearby for pairing.

Useless, no range. Not worth it
I just bin this sensor, its been the biggest disappointment so far on my smart home purchases.
This sensor has no more than 5 meters range is there are not concrete walls in between. Tried it everywhere and only works when its really close to the apple tv.
Useless. Bought hue sensors and they have 3 times the range, are cheaper and react faster too.Pro
