Dyson DC37c Parquet
Dyson DC37c Parquet
top product, easy to use. Super suction power. Easy to empty. Rolls around the furniture very well.
Pro
Quality product. Bought this product because we have two cats in the apartment and the old vacuum wasn't picking up all the fine stuff. This vacuum is excellent for catching and keeping all the fine particles that can cause allergies.

Have received good feedback: My Putz loves me!
From my point of view, a totally overrated product. Before buying it, I let friends inspire me to buy this hoover (my mistake). However, after the first use it was already clear that savings/optimisation had been made in all areas (e.g. "cheap" plastic, cable much too short). The connections of the individual parts leave a very inferior impression. Everything wobbles, the dust container looks very "cheap". The suction power is ok as long as only house dust or "dirt" with a small grain size is sucked in. If there's something coarser to suck up, it's bound to get stuck somewhere (suction line flattens out a lot in front of the collection container, can't be cleaned/dismantled). After less than 3 years of use, the appliance no longer works at all because something is clogged somewhere that ordinary mortals can't reach (our previous hoover worked perfectly for 15 years). Let's see how the Dyson repair service does...

For the price, I would have liked something more. Nothing to complain about at motor and filter level, but the accessories look kind of cheap. Tube is too short! The hoover follows the user very well, but the tube is definitely too short to reach e.g. upper shelves or the other side of the bed without having to take the hoover in the handle.

i can't understand the comments here. i had a bagless electrolux before the dyson and wanted the dyson because of the multicyclones and because emptying should be more convenient...
at first glance, emptying the dust container is easier and "cleaner" than with the old electrolux. at second glance, however, it's almost more of a hassle with the dyson. the flap that opens at the touch of a button has a high edge, so a lot of dirt gets stuck there and has to be laboriously knocked out. a lot of fibres and other stuff get caught in the filter grid around the centre, which has to be tediously wiped off. fine dust constantly trickles out of the opening in the centre during cleaning. by the way, all the dirt circulates constantly in the container during vacuuming, so it rattles loudly all the time, for example when you have sucked up small stones or larger hard bread crumbs.
the cable is quite short and can't be rolled up, the suction tube is still too short even when fully extended, so i have to vacuum all the time from a stoop. the handle on the tube is very thin, so your hand gets cramped quickly to guide the tube precisely when vacuuming. when you turn it off, you can't hook the tube onto the stick vacuum cleaner like you can with other vacuum cleaners!
the wheels are tiny, the hoover can't even run over its own cable!!! as it is a bit top-heavy and rather narrow, you have to be quite careful when pulling it to make sure it doesn't tip over.
the suction power and therefore the volume cannot be adjusted. i can't say for sure whether the dyson sucks better than the electrolux, because with the electrolux, i can adjust the power so that i only have as much power as i need and, accordingly, as loud as i need. you can practically vacuum up a few bread crumbs in the kitchen in the middle of the night without disturbing anyone.
the only positive thing i find is that there are quite a few accessories available, but of course only for a rather high price.

I had an old vacuum, that needed to be upgraded. I'm pleased with my Dyson and has great add on pieces if you need them.
Great vacuum cleaner. Strong suction, high quality components. Standard parts not so good for carpets but I bought the Tangle Free Turbine Tool extra and that works fantastically on carpets.
Very good for parquet/hard floors...sufficient for carpet
Powerful vacuum cleaner with lots of accessories

Bought it for parquet, works well on parquet. Very happy. Solid piece of machine. Clearly improved over the four years older models. Comes with a good selection of "sucking heads". Is somewhat pricey, but you feel the robust quality.
This is our second Dyson, the first one (a DC19) still works well but is more cumbersome to empty and, at 7 years old, also uses more electricity and is noisier.
The DC37 parquet was chosen by me because it is:
- quieter
- more economical
- easier to empty
and the parquet nozzle is already included. For the price at Galaxus, it's unbeatable!
It vacuums well (as expected), is much smaller and more manoeuvrable and emptying the container is also a bit better, although not as perfect as advertised :-)
The only criticism of the parquet model is the fact that you can't attach the hose to the vacuum cleaner with the parquet nozzle fitted, that was better solved on the old model!
We only have parquet and now always have to put the hose next to the appliance.

Good vacuum cleaner for hard floors, price at Galaxus is absolutely competitive

This is already our second vacuum cleaner without a bag. We are very satisfied with the performance. However, emptying the container is a bit fiddly and it has a lot of little pastik tabs when removing it, which I'm sure will break soon. I'm curious to see how long the device lasts.
It's a shame that you can't adjust the suction power. Since at maximum power the nozzle sticks too much to the floor on parquet, there is a slider on the brush to let some air flow in. This works well. However, the appliance remains just as loud and uses the same amount of electricity, even though the power is not fully needed.
A good appliance for daily use, but could be improved.

The Dyson is a dust collector with a very well thought-out operating concept.
Every part has its place. Every lock fits and is still easy to open.
The parts, such as the suction rod, hose and actual vacuum cleaner, are very easy to take apart and put together.
There is no need to 'choke' parts into each other with force, which can hardly be separated afterwards. Good guides with corresponding snap-in locking devices keep the parts in place.

Great product!!! Very design, powerful without being too noisy.
Dyson is a very good brand.
Good hoover, relatively light, good suction power

Great vacuum cleaner with incredible suction power. The only downside, in my opinion, is the rather high noise level.

I've had the Dyson for two/three weeks now and am completely thrilled. I hesitated for a long time because the price is a bit high. Our old hoover gave up the ghost and so we had to get a new one ;-)
The great thing about the device is simply the suction power and the cleaning of the collection container. Simply ingenious!
I can only recommend it.
