Vacuum mopping robot
After about 1 month of use and experience: this is the first robot that really delivers what it promises, I have never seen such a good result from a robot. The thing is amazingly flexible with its accessories (extending, lifting, dropping,...), and it is always surprising how much dust and dirt it finds again, even though it already looked clean before.
- Base/accessories: The base station is foolproof, everything is intuitive and the tanks for detergent (refillable, good!), fresh water and waste water are generously sized. I haven't had to change the hoover bags yet. There is a decent pack of consumables included, which should be enough for the medium term. The "official" cleaning agent is quite expensive, but is used quite sparingly. Incidentally, I like the fact that the detergent only has a very subtle odour that you only notice when you are close to the freshly cleaned mop, rather than polluting the whole place with a lemon or pseudo-flowery smell.
- Appliance: well, just a cleaning robot. So far I haven't had to change much, but where you have to do something, it's clear what to do. There is only one side brush, but it can be extended. Then there's a silicone roller - Dreame could have included a Tricut brush (with a classic brush/rubber combination and hair-cutting mechanism) instead of the spare roller, in keeping with the name "Ultra Complete". The two mop rotors are cool: both can also be extended and are also attached with magnets so that the robot can attach and detach them from the station independently. And they can be lifted/retracted. I think I have even seen that it "leans" on the mops when mopping to build up more pressure, but I could be wrong. The mops themselves are attached to the rotors with Velcro, which works very well.
- Software: I'll mention the biggest criticism first, because it's important. The robot actually only works in conjunction with the app; communication only takes place via the manufacturer's cloud. And the manufacturer is based in China and the robot has a built-in camera. So technically speaking, images can be transmitted at any time. It is at least a little reassuring to know that you can only access recorded images yourself if you explicitly consent to data transmission. This gives us hope that this will only happen if the user has given their consent, but this is no guarantee.
Otherwise, the app is surprisingly good - relatively simple and sensibly structured, and I don't really miss any functions. You can set directions for rooms, mark ramps (before that he didn't dare go up when exploring...) etc. Only the German translation is a bit bumpy at times, but understandable.
Overall: both thumbs up from me, at least so far.

We've had a lot of robot hoovers, this is our first robot hoover. Its camera and object recognition are just incredible, so when you use this robot, you'll never complain about your robot again. It recognises, it avoids, it cleans so well that we know the cleaning of our home will be in good hands in the future.

The robot is great! But the software is completely stupid. For example, the Lidar detects another room but the mini step is too high for the robot. So if you want to put it there and get it to start cleaning, it first wants to find its bearings, so it leaves the room by passing the step and can't come back. If you create a virtual barrier on the map, it's useless because the barrier is useless until the robot is located. It's impossible to simply lock him in a room and tell him to just suck it up. You can't put it on another floor and tell it to suck only. But if you only have one floor and no complications (markets, thresholds, floors), then it's advisable.

Robot is good, vacuums, mops, etc.
However, after a few months, water leaked out of the station once. A few weeks later there was a plopping noise and since then almost the entire water container has leaked onto the floor.
Contact with Galaxus resulted in: the station, AS WELL AS THE ROBOT AND ALL ACCESSORIES must be sent in. If you no longer have the original box, you can return everything to a store. Why? Because everything may be replaced after 4 weeks of repair.
This is not the fault of Galaxus but of Dreame: it is better to dispose of it than to repair it.
Well, the station can be opened without invalidating the warranty. And the problem immediately became apparent: the fresh water hose had come loose. Plugged it in and (re)tightened it, and everything works again without this sending-in madness.

Very nice machine. The price is high but justified, saving time every day. I recommend it with my eyes closed.

Guys, this thing is brilliant and makes housework incredibly easy!!! We have a very tricky, dark vinyl floor in the living/dining room area (over 60 m2) and a dog that leaves its tracks there (footprints!). With our "Horst" this is no longer a problem - it runs every day and I have more time for the dog :)
