Good everyday basic protection
Nice protection for everyday use, quickly packed and quickly out again, so the HP Pavilion Convertible 13" stays beautiful longer and the joy of it stays longer. Inside, there are no ears that can be put over the notebook, but since the notebook is put in upright and the sleeve fits snugly, there is no danger of it coming out itself when the zipper is opened. The outside pocket allows the charging adapter to be stowed away, the neoprene material is nicely elastic and holds the adapter firmly in place even without the zipper. This cover protects against everyday wear and tear and I would describe it as minimal or basic protection, but it does not protect against a fall onto the edge!

For the Surface Laptop a little too big cover made of quite thin material
I bought the case as an accessory for the Surface Laptop Gen1 (it was listed as an accessory at Digitec). The Surface Laptop fits, but the case is a bit too big (in length). Since the material is quite thin, it slithers a bit where the case overlaps.
The workmanship seems to be quite good and the inner padding is also thin but at least of good quality. The outer compartment and a small charger, cable and USB adapter are positive features.Pro

Not quite as expected
Design and colour o.k., pocket is practical, fits a Dell XPS 13 (even almost a bit big). Minus point: unfortunately not as well padded as expected. Therefore only 3 stars. VAX Barcelona Pedralbes is much better, but it doesn't fit. Unfortunately

Practical sleeve, unfortunately with unprotected zipper
Bought with a Surface 3, fits perfectly in width. It is 2 cm longer, so I can just fit some accessories in it, e.g. a CLX pen scanner. Other small accessories (pen, USB stick) fit in the outer pocket. The power supply unit, however, is too big for the outer pocket.
With the TypeCover docked, the Surface hardly has any more room, it only barely fits. However, the keyboard can be stowed in the outer pocket.
Actually, the workmanship is good, but the sliders of the zipper (when open) have no protection on the inside. As a result, the frame always scrapes against them when the tablet is pulled in and out. Therefore, I would not buy this sleeve again today!
