The CEOL N10 has grown a lot compared to the old CEOL Piccolos from DENON, which is probably due to the better heat distribution; because the small Piccolos sometimes ran a bit warm under high load...
Software-wise, a lot has also changed, as the device can now be easily combined with a HEOS AVR, HEOS Amp or HEOS speakers to create a voice-controlled streaming & multi-room system.
If you're looking to breathe some more life into your existing passive speakers, Denon won't disappoint. The N10 has excellent sound reproduction in almost all frequency ranges and can easily rival other multiroom amplifiers - but at the same time offers much more performance for the money.
I use the N10 mainly as a zone player for the office and control it voice-controlled via a Google Nest Mini or smartphone.
This makes listening to music really fun...

I connected the Denon CEOL to my 20-year-old Epos ES14 Hi-End speakers (Hi-End freaks may roll their eyes now... ). My initial scepticism - because the ES14 speakers play pretty mercilessly what comes in - quickly disappeared. The receiver plays clean, detailed and, for this price range, quite direct. Even with TV, the sound quality is good. Voices stand out clearly from background noise and music, even at low volume. The sound output is more than sufficient, even for a large living room. Setting up the home network is easy and is guided via the display. Generally super user-friendly, not least thanks to the HEOS app.
If there is anything to complain about, it's the lack of a DAB+ function and the missing connections for a second pair of speakers or centre speaker. In a nutshell: Very good product for very little money.

I opted for the cheaper grey version, which unfortunately looks quite ugly (dark grey plastic)... But it works perfectly.
