Since the takeover of Bosch, the thing regularly finds the most impossible errors after the updates, which it implements and thus makes my mobile life hell. The fact that no solution has yet been worked out to protect the expensive OLED screens and prevent them from burning in is one of the lesser evils (the damage to a new iPhone is about 350 euros). Currently, the device does not find the bike's battery when you charge the bike. And Cobi doesn't charge while you're riding either. The result is that you have to constantly log in and set everything up again. You can charge the device, I found out after several hours, if you charge it manually while charging the bike. You have to press the button on the Cobi and wait until the white light flashes. You have to do this 4 - 5 times at intervals of 15 minutes, otherwise the battery in the Cobi will be empty again after 20 km. If, contrary to expectations, it is not necessary to log in and set up again, something else is probably wrong. Last time, I could no longer control the music volume via the bicycle button... The support is more than bad. I and my bicycle dealer tried for a long time to describe the problem in detail to the relevant specialists. But instead of getting down to the programming and looking for the fault in the system, they made us change all kinds of cables and all the hardware around the Cobi (including the Cobi), only to explain the problem to them. Cobi) only to explain that they don't know what's wrong either... When I consider that today it is possible in every smallest car to pair your mobile phone and then control both music and phone calls via the button in the steering wheel, Bosch is missing a huge opportunity with Cobi. All other Bosch bike computers are stable, but they can only do a fraction of what Cobi can do. In the longer term, one can only hope that another motor manufacturer will see the opportunity and develop better control units for their motors.
