Great product to have! I am Greek and i know about good gyros. This machine will meet your expectations. Its powerful well built and fun to use.

Have made two chickens on it.
Chicken rotates without any problems.
Chicken was through after 1h, as in the oven.
Assembly is pretty instructionless.
Habs but with some thinking and trial and error hingekriegt.
If you put aluminum foil in between, you can minimize the cleaning effort.

Don't buy it!
Don't buy it, it's definitely not worth the money. The idea is good but the realisation is poor. You almost can't cut the meat off the spit because everything is unstable. If you can cut the meat, it doesn't fall into the bowl but somewhere on the work surface.

Quite usable
Used twice so far and achieved a great result both times. I boned the chicken thighs and layered them with the skin on half of a cooked onion (placed on the skewer as a base). Of course, the meat was marinated for 12 hours beforehand.
It takes about 15 minutes to cut the chicken thigh for the first time. Then every 15 minutes again. More roasting results in a better flavour, but this is perhaps also a matter of taste.
It's fine for 2 people. If you are using it at a party or for more people, you should either prepare it in advance and then heat it up or have several appliances.
I considered buying an appliance with a glass door at the front, but decided in favour of this test winner.
Individual skewers and whole chicken are still being trialled.

There are no instructions but it is intuitive. Elegant and doesn't take up too much space

Got the part yesterday and tried today. After an hour, the poulet was almost black outside but inside still not through. If you have an oven at home, this thing is pointless. I'm going to try making a kebab before I throw this thing out.
Does what I hoped
Wanted to make my own kebab for once.... has not only worked with the thing without problems, but was also the best kebab I've ever eaten (and kebabs were for years one of my favorite dishes).
Have for easier cleaning analog the other Greek (?) in the comments the elements covered with aluminum foil.... only gives a more lifelike effect haha :PKebap at home

The device is great... just the construction is a bit strange. The PART on top that you should attach does not fit in the slot.... I have it but still somehow managed and it has given a great end result.
Galaxus supplies the WRONG adapter. Had to cut off a plastic part that the adapter had space...
Otherwise, for the price in order :)
