Handy and effective
You certainly can't compare it to an iron and it doesn't replace it. Jeans and heavy fabrics, as well as shirts, can be ironed better and more effectively with an iron, but the appliance is perfect for a fine blouse, a T-shirt or for freshening up or creasing used trousers (e.g. in the hollow of the knee).
The appliance is not very light. This is another reason why I prefer an iron with an ironing board for my weekly wash. But the combination of the two is perfect for me and exactly what I wanted.
P. S. I previously had an old Betty Bossi (Fust) steam straightener, which I hardly ever used due to its lack of steam power.Pro
