Why not buy "Honorsta SK-7180" directly in China?

I have had the appliance for just over two years. Now the fan is defective :-(.
I disassembled the unit with the intention of repairing it.
On the circuit boards (90s technology) are the inscriptions "SK7180-V0.2" and "SK6180-A1.2".

    A
quick search on the internet reveals the actual manufacturer of the device.
It is the manufacturer Honorsta from Foshan, China:
    http://en.honorsta.com
    The device is an SK7180:
    http://en.honorsta.com/public...

Perhaps you can also buy the device directly there :-). However, because of the short lifespan, in my experience, I would generally advise against buying the device. Regardless of the label.

P.S. The repair should be possible because the fan is available elsewhere on the net.

    Beautiful but useless!

I ordered it because it looked nice and it was for a 20m2 room.
After setting it up in my 16m2 room, I immediately switched on the night function and let it run overnight.
It is quite loud and above all it runs all the time
without interruption. I was shocked to realise the next morning. The tank was already empty although it should have run for longer than 8 hours. Then the door and the window were full of water and it was extremely damp in the room. So now the appliance was ploughing through the whole night regardless of the humidity. Everything was wet and then to top it all off, you can't just remove the container to top up the water, no, you have to unplug the whole station and take it to the sink because there is still water in the station. This was the case after every use. All in all, this appliance is totally unusable despite its beautiful design. If I were to fill the tank completely, my wooden doors and windows would already be soaked and full of mould. So my advice: keep your hands off this humidifier!

    Pro

    Contra

    • No hygrometer
    • No automatic switch-off
    • No set value for humidity
    • Loses water

    works as it should

I've been using the Beurer LB 37 for about a week now, and I'm very happy with it. It's in my office, where we have extremely low humidy (below 20%). It has made a big difference, and gets the humidity up to above 30% in a few hours. It's quiet, apart from the occasional gurgling sound when some of the water moves around in the system. It doesn't make the area around it wet at all, and it looks really pretty too!
