    Excellent product!

Cooler installed in the following system:

    Processor: Xeon E3-1231 v3 3.4GHz (3.8Ghz) TDP 80 Watt
Case: Corsair 600R (Fan set to lowest level.)
Thermal compound: Artic Silver 5 (Applied to CPU and cooler.)
    When mounting
the heat sink, leave a 2mm gap to the back plate when tightening the screws.
(Do not tighten the screws all the way).

    Normal operation: 30C
    Prime95, 15min.: 62C

    • Cools excellently, despite slight grooves on the cooler surface.
    • Quiet and light
    • Stable mounting due to LGA 115x back plate
    • Cheap
    • Compact dimensions --> No problem with 4 high RAM bars.

    Good performance, Good support

    TL;TR:
For the AM4 socket, do not remove the plastic things.
These are needed for the mounting bracket.

I (dummy) had already removed the 2 plastic parts next to the CPU from the motherboard and didn't know how to mount
    the Alpenföhn afterwards.
Alpenföhn support promptly helped me out by sending me this Youtube video:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch

(In my defense: The boxed CPU cooler that comes with some Ryzen's bolts right on, you have to remove the plastic things to do that).

    Alpenföhn Ben Nevis (14,10cm)

Robust, stable impression, even the bearing of the rotor runs cleanly and silently.

According to Digitec specification it says
    "LED color white",
unfortunately I have no idea how/where these LED`s should be installed ;)
    So
colored as in the pictures, frame black, rotor white WITHOUT LED!

A very great fan for the price. Have him already 2x in use. In one case with a Ryzen5 3rd generation. There he is consistently at 100% (Ryzen likes to be warm at idle) Is really incredibly quiet for that. So the ball bearings seem to be really incredibly good. In the second case, it cools an old 6th gen i5. There he is already almost an overkill.

Can really recommend the fan to AMD as well as Intel users.
