The entire USA and continental Europe are covered in two massive, sprawling maps, while more detailed maps focus on specific regions of each continent. Enhanced track construction helps you concentrate on important decisions as you drive the economy and promote city growth. Signals are automatically placed, bridges can accommodate up to 4 tracks, and expandable stations can now have up to 8 tracks.

Choose from 6 different characters to lead your railway company, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. Play through the campaign with 5 chapters or select from one of 14 different scenarios. Set the difficulty level in the fully customizable free play mode or build the perfect rail network in the construction mode. Compete against your railway empire rivals together with friends in co-op multiplayer. You can also hop aboard one of your trains and admire the passing scenery as the iron horse races along the tracks, allowing you to sit back and enjoy the view.
