Without a carrier = twice as fast
Since the 3.5" hard drive does not need to be fixed in a carrier, no screwdrivers are required, and the installation and removal can be done twice as quickly. A 5.25" bay is needed. It supports SATA hard drives with speeds of SATA I, II, and III.

Without a fan = whisper-quiet
The housing of the exchange frame is almost entirely made of aluminum, with only the front and rear panels made of hard plastic. Aluminum is very sturdy, even though it is very lightweight, and it is especially known for its excellent heat conductivity. This allows you to avoid a noisy fan without damaging the hard drive. An optional 12V fan can be connected (not included).

With a lock = worry-free
To protect the hard drive from unauthorized access, the hard drive slot can be locked. An LED indicates operation and access, but there is no alarm for hard drive failures or similar issues. Those who value tranquility will appreciate it.
