RAID Tresor

RAID made simple and secure - two free 5.25" bays required. The SR2611-2S-S2R+ accommodates 2 x 3.5" hard drives of any size. Connection is via 6 Gbit/s fast SATA III, allowing for quick transfer of large files. This is possible regardless of the operating system: even without computer support, you can choose between two different RAID modes: RAID 0 (Striping) and RAID 1 (Mirroring).

In RAID 1, hot swapping, or replacing drives while the system is running, is even possible. Maximum emphasis is placed on security. The system provides updates on the current status through LEDs, RaidGuide software, an LCD, and alarm sounds. Should the worst-case scenario of data loss occur, automatic data recovery is available. Thanks to the active cooling of the system, this is highly unlikely. Even thieves have a tough time, as the hard drives can be secured with a lock to prevent removal.
