The passive SB-2 was designed for instruments with high output levels such as active bass guitars, keyboards, drum machines, or other unbalanced sources like DJ mixers, CD players, or computers. It offers an instrument input, a thru-put for powering an amplifier or stage monitor, and an isolated output. Balancing and impedance matching are achieved through special Eclipse transformers. Additional features include low noise, a pad switch, and a ground lift on pin 1.
