Does this scale, like its predecessor, also work with Samsung S Health?

If I have understood correctly, measurements from the scale are sent to the mobile via Bluetooth and from there to the cloud... Are the measurements also recorded on the scale if no app is connected, for example if I don't have my mobile phone to hand at the moment? Or do I have to connect my mobile and have the app open every time I want to record the weight measurements?

This scale for sure works with Samsung Health. It can function without its own MI app and one can just use it with the Samsung Health app.
