Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 5

According to our information, the product does not have NFC.
No, but I think that shouldn't be a problem. A mobile phone also counts the steps in the trouser pocket. So why shouldn't it work on the ankle :-)
Yes, but it doesn't always work properly. Since December, the whole Mi Fit app has had problems anyway and also the synchronisation with Google Fit.

Hi Fdenzler The Mi Band has "Idle Alerts" and when these are activated it vibrates if no activity is detected for at least 1 hour. You can configure the start and end time so that it does not vibrate at night or over midday. However, the duration (1h) cannot be changed. Not specific to the question but possibly also worth knowing: Xiaomi recently launched the Mi Band 6, with a larger display and blood oxygen content measurement (SpO2) and I would recommend this, I have just switched.
Only if the Smartwatch is connected to the mobile phone via Bluetooth.
The best thing is to ask the manufacturer or look in the instructions for use. I personally do not know.
In the description it says "included: charging cable". So you can use this cable to use an existing charger from your mobile phone.
Yes in the Mi Fit App - Profile - Under My Devices: "Mi Smart Bracelet 5" - Language - German Ready
The pulse is measured and works well. However, the update speed could be better (faster). If this is not so important to you, then the price/performance is OK. If you attach a lot of importance to it, there are better products. But I am satisfied with the Smart Band.
The Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 5 does not have its own GPS chip, but it does have Connected GPS. This uses your phone's location data to provide accurate distance statistics and maps for your runs and rides.
Yes, German can be selected with the latest firmware.
The manufacturer's app (Xiaomi Mi Fit) is quite ok. It requires quite a lot of permissions, but that is also necessary for sensible use. Otherwise, "Tools & Mi Band" would also work, but I only tested it briefly and can't say much about it...
Im not sure but you need à device with the mi fit app installed and with Bluetooth. If not, I can't see how you can program the band...
Yes
I have firmware version V 1.0.1.32 and everything is in German. To do this, simply run the firmware update via the Mi Fit app and then select "Follow phone language" under the settings for the language.
I installed the app, but didn't find anything. The MI Band works great with the Mi Fit app.
Yes

The band cannot be set to German, but only to English, Spanish, Chinese and a few other languages. However, the instructions and the Mi Fit app are in German.
There are enough coloured ribbons on the internet for little money. I think the black one goes with everything.
This is the Global version without NFC and for the moment the languages available are : Chinese, English, Russian, Spanish
Yes. In the Sleep app there is a link to 2 apps: - Tools & Mi Band (paid) - Notify & Fitness for Mi Band (free) I have installed the latter.
