No, it explicitly says "Guarantee: 24 months bring-in". The 5-year warranty is a special feature of the Mi Store. If you want to benefit from it, you have to order there.
The scooter does not have a lock. It can be locked with a bicycle lock through the rear wheel. Alternatively, you can lock the scooter electronically using an app.

According to the manufacturer, this product is equipped with several speed control modes (5 - 15 and 20 km/h).
You should contact the manufacturer directly or write us an e-mail explaining the problem, possibly with a photo. digitec@digitec.ch
To turn off the beep and go faster you need to connect to the application with your mobile phone (all the explanations are in the leaflet you received with the scooter) and then you can change the mode by pressing the start button twice. But first you have to activate your scooter with the app so that the beeping stops.
So it is protected against "a little wetness" but I would avoid driving in too much rain because on the one hand the connection of the charger was very unfavourably placed in the first models and on the other hand driving in the rain is a bit difficult and above all dangerous due to the risk of slipping. Best regards and have fun driving :)

Does anyone know exactly how the app lock works? When I lock the scooter via the app, it works. A lock appears on the display and the scooter beeps as soon as it is moved. So far, so good.
However, when I checked the scooter after a while to see if the lock was still active, it was no longer the case!
In the meantime, however, the mobile phone was no longer connected to the scooter because it was too far away. So now I'm asking myself whether the lock only works as long as the mobile phone is connected...
Or is there a trick / setting that I have overlooked?
Thank you very much for your help!
Hello together
I have received the scooter and am basically satisfied. The scooter cannot be used without initial "pairing via bluetooth" to the app or beeps and is severely limited (speed), so this is mandatory.
For the community's understanding:
1) After I have done this on my iPhone, I am of the opinion that my wife can also use this scooter without the app and mobile. Right? I put my mobile away once and deactivated Bluetooth and it worked.
2) What is the point of pairing with the app? Sure, I can see information, update the firmware and lock the motor, but there was also something on the internet about theft protection, but I don't see that I can lock the scooter if it is "lost", like with Apple Airpods or something. Sure I can lock the motor before I leave so the thing is useless. I assume pairing is not possible with a new mobile / account after the initial setup.
Thanks
Hello, I use the same scooter and am also very satisfied. 1) Exactly, when you need to go fast, just switch it on and go. The mobile doesn't have to be paired. That's how we use it within the family. 2) Basically, I think (but I'm not 100% sure) that pairing allows the speed to be increased from 15 to 20 km/h. This is why we have the scooter with two wheels. That's why we set up the scooter with two different accounts within the family who use it the most (hence to your last sentence: multiple mobiles / accounts would therefore have to go).
I don't know about being able to lock it in case of loss, but that would be a good idea.
Also pay attention to the D or S mode. Simply double-click on the power button to switch to S = speed = max. speed.
