I wouldn't bet on WiFi for sound/image synchronisation!
In this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLHx0Utq3IU he mentions Bluetooth.
Perhaps with a Bluetooth adapter?

I can only agree with this, I tried the beamer for the first time on a white plaster wall. (Mariokart, Youtube, Netflix) and it worked great, good picture, brightness, etc. Now with a screen, because it's a bit better, but not necessarily.
The best thing to do is to contact our customer service helpcenter.galaxus.ch/hc/en/requests/new directly. Your request can then be checked individually.
You can watch Netflix on the XGIMI Horizon projector, but it requires a small workaround. Since Netflix requires specific licences and certifications for projectors, it is not directly available. However, you can use the Desktop Launcher app to install and use Netflix. Alternatively, you can also use an external streaming stick such as Amazon Fire TV or Chromecast to stream Netflix.
Unfortunately, it still doesn't work, so I complained to XGIMI and got a dongle for the HDMI socket... similar to Apple TV or Amazon Fire Stick, works perfectly
Hello, the camera in my home is in a corner, the projection is diagonal, the room is 4m 50 wide and the minimum width obtained is 2m 10 with the zoom at maximum.
Yes, you can operate the XGIMI Horizon Pro 4K projector with Apple TV via HDMI. The Horizon Pro 4K supports HDMI connections and is compatible with various devices, including media streamers such as Apple TV.
- The projector has multiple HDMI inputs that you can use to connect Apple TV.
- There are no known compatibility issues between the XGIMI Horizon Pro 4K and Apple TV via HDMI.
Technically, there is nothing to be said against it.
Luminosity is good, of course there are brighter projectors for presentations. But they are also significantly larger and louder.
The projector is quiet, compact, elegant and has a good image.
At this price, it certainly makes sense to use the device for home cinema. It's great for that.
Unfortunately, I can't answer the question about the quality or I didn't really notice it. But be aware that you will always see a grey frame of the original projection surface when you zoom out.
the projector does not have a vga connection you would probably have to watch netflix via e.g. the google chromecast. that should work, i have read. but i always find such a thing not so elegantly solved.
Yes, the XGIMI Horizon Pro projector supports 3D content. To use the 3D function, you need active shutter 3D glasses. It is recommended to use the original XGIMI 3D glasses to ensure optimal performance and a better viewing experience.
Regarding compatibility with the Panasonic DMP-BDT167 Blu-ray player: This Blu-ray player supports 3D playback. If you connect it to the XGIMI Horizon Pro via HDMI, you should be able to play 3D content. Make sure that both the projector and the Blu-ray player are set up correctly for 3D playback and that you are using compatible 3D glasses.
Please note that the quality of 3D playback also depends on the compatibility of the 3D glasses used. It is therefore advisable to use the recommended XGIMI 3D glasses.
Yes, the projector supports Airplay via the AirScreen app. To do this, you must install the AirScreen app on the device and connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi network. The official instructions confirm that XGIMI products such as the HORIZON provide Airplay functions via this method.
Note: The above steps apply to the HORIZON - for your "Horizon (Full HD)" model, the exact procedure may vary, but Airplay functionality is typically available via AirScreen on XGIMI products in this series. If you are unsure, I recommend taking a look at the instructions supplied or the manufacturer's support portal.
We recently bought this projector and watching Netflix via the workaround is more of a hassle than a pleasure. Now we've tried it with Disney+. But unfortunately it stutters enormously with the XGIMI - a black screen often appears and then the film continues to run in poor quality.
Our internet is reasonably fast (150Mbit/s download and 11Mbit/s upload). Disney+ on the laptop as well as on the smartphone works perfectly, so we assume that it's the XGIMI. Does anyone have similar problems or a solution to the problem?
Yes, it is possible to connect an external DVD drive to an XGIMI Horizon Pro projector via USB, but with some restrictions.
- The XGIMI Horizon Pro supports USB ports that provide enough power to operate TV sticks and other USB devices.
- However, the external DVD drive must be compatible with the projector's Android TV system, which is not guaranteed. Most external DVD drives are designed for PCs and laptops and may not work directly with the projector's Android TV system.
- An alternative solution would be to copy the content from the DVD to a USB drive or external hard drive and then connect it to the projector, as the projector supports local files and media sources via USB.
I recently purchased the projector and am very happy with the device overall. The projector is set up next to my bed on a tripod and projects the image at an angle onto the wall in front of me. I have correctly aligned the trapezoid on the wall, but I notice a diagonal white shadow under the trapezoid, which affects the picture quality.
Could you please help me how I can remove this shadow? Is it possibly due to the positioning of the projector or is there a setting on the device that I should adjust?
our projector is also at an angle, the image is projected straight, but what mine still sees is simply the bright cone of light without an image... but that's normal, even with a friend of mine. so there's no dark shadow as you know it, just a bright cone of light without an image. the bright cone of light, which doesn't have the shape of the image (rectangular), but one where the right side is longer than the left, for example, because the projector is in front of the left wall, is just normal. i hope you understand what i mean.
I would like to equip my living room with a screen that descends from above, does anyone have a recommendation? I want the best resolution of course (4K) and unfortunately I don't know how wide it should be.
It would look like this:

I would also buy the XGIMI Horizon Pro for this.
But again, I don't know how far away from the screen I would have to set it up.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
