I've never zoomed with it... just as I don't know whether you can zoom with a projector.
Based on the amount of pixels, I wouldn't recommend it anyway, but rather zooming with the device that sends the signal to the projector.
The projector can be connected directly to the mobile via HDMI cable or wirelessly via the hotspot (Wi-Fi) using Miracast or screen mirroring. A corresponding adapter (e.g. USB-C to HDMI) is required for the cable connection. The connection via the hotspot is possible via Wi-Fi, whereby Miracast is supported, but the stability of the connection may vary.
Common streaming apps such as Netflix, Disney+ and YouTube work on the projector as Android 9.0 is pre-installed and these apps are already included. However, the projector only supports Widevine L3, which means that Netflix and the like cannot be streamed in HD quality directly via the apps; for HD streaming, we recommend using an external playback device via HDMI or Chromecast. The apps are accessible via the dedicated app store and additional apps can be installed via sideload.
The projector runs on Android 9.0. Netflix works correctly on this device, as it comes with preloaded apps including Netflix and supports streaming through its Android system.
The following options are available for operation with a power bank:
- Option 1: USB-C to 19V/3A DC cable
Direct connection from the power bank to the projector, without the original power supply unit.
Prerequisite: Your power bank must support PD (Power Delivery) and be able to output 19V/3A.
Advantage: More efficient and compact, no mains adapter required.
Disadvantage: You need a high-quality USB-C to DC cable that has exactly the right plug for the projector.
- Option 2: USB to 2-pin DC cable for the power supply unit
Does not work as the power supply requires 230V AC, which USB cannot supply.
USB only supplies DC voltage, so unsuitable for the original power supply.
The safest and most practical solution is:
- A USB-C to 19V/3A DC cable, directly from the power bank to the projector, without the original power supply.
Yes, this projector is compatible with an iPhone. It allows content to be streamed via the screen mirroring function (Miracast) and can also be connected by cable via the HDMI port, offering universal compatibility with most video sources, including an iPhone with an appropriate adapter. What's more, the built-in Wi-Fi connection makes it easy to stream and mirror wirelessly from an iPhone.
