As stated in our terms and conditions: "Wearing parts such as, in particular, batteries, rechargeable batteries, power cables, adapters, illuminants and software problems are excluded from the warranty by both Digitec Galaxus and the retailer."
The VARTA Silver Dynamic AGM battery (12 V, 95 Ah, 850 A) is compatible with the 2016 Giulia Alfa Romeo petrol 200hp, but there are some important considerations:
- The 2016 Giulia Alfa Romeo was originally fitted with lead acid or EFB (Enhanced Flooded Battery) batteries, not AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat).
- However, it is possible and often recommended to replace an EFB battery with an AGM to improve performance, especialmente in vehicles with start-stop systems and multiple electrical accessories. The AGM battery offers greater tolerance to charge and discharge cycles, better performance in extreme climates, and a longer service life.
It is advisable to consult a professional for installation, as AGM batteries must be installed correctly to guarantee their performance and the safety of the vehicle.
Hey Sessantanove, that is indeed the case. Galaxus does not give a guarantee on car batteries. Galaxus writes that a battery is a consumable item (probably similar to a bar of soap) and therefore no guarantee can be given. (In principle, however, there should not be a problem, and a reasonable car battery also lasts at least 5-7 years absolutely flawlessly). What the Varta doesn't like at all is deep discharges... so always make sure that there is some juice in the battery. Best wishes and have a good trip
