Ubiquiti SFP+ Modul UACC-CM-RJ45-MG
The product is not fixed to 10G. It supports multiple Ethernet speeds. This means that it also works with a 2.5G-capable Ethernet end device.
Zyxel recommends using their own branded transceivers to ensure proper functionality. Third-party modules, like the Ubiquiti transceiver, may not be fully compatible with Zyxel switches. Given that your devices aren't receiving a signal and the switch's LED doesn't light up when the transceiver is inserted, it's possible that the Ubiquiti transceiver isn't compatible with the Zyxel XMG-105HP.
I've also tested with category 7 and 8 cables without any problems. I haven't tested whether there's a change in stability and speed, but in any case I've had no problems with compatibility.
Mine are a good hand-warm at room temperature. I haven't measured it yet. Will probably also depend on how warm the cards / switch are.
Without knowing the Cisco switch now, I would simply say yes, because SPF+ should be a standard.
Coming from what end on init7? Native they're fibre, not RJ-45 like this one. So for Fiber 7, no. If you're using Hybrid 7, with (e.g.) a Nokia bridge (they have that option), then yes, this works. But I wonder if there's some misunderstanding. This plugs into a device, so what device would you plug it into?
