Is this antenna suitable for outdoor use? Unfortunately I can't find IP65 or similar anywhere.

What about backwards compatibility? For example, if I now have 2 NanoBeam M5s and one is defective... can I simply replace the defective one with this device? After all, they are both 5GHz.

Has anyone tested it with Swisscom TV? I installed this antenna with a Swisscom TV-Box and for 2 weeks everything worked, there was a problem, a beast ate a cable from the antenna, I replaced it and redid the configuration, since then the Live TV blocks every 10 seconds or so while the replay mode and recordings work perfectly. If anyone has any leads?

I am answering my question because I have found the solution, if it helps anyone, you just need to configure the antennas as AP PTP and Station PTP and not PTMP Airmax.

Can the NBE-5AC-Gen2 also be used as a standalone AP (with directional characteristic) ?

Yes, the POEs come with it.

Is this the newer version with two Ethernet ports or the older one with one? The specifications correspond partly to the new version (8.5 W instead of 8), partly to the old...

I can't answer that question exactly, but I ordered two a while ago and both had only one Ethernet port.
