Hello Thomas, It depends on the device you want to supply with internet. If it has USB, something like this might work: D-Link DWA-121 WLAN-Adapter USB (USB) If it only works with an Ethernet connection: Powerline adapter from the base station to your room. It's not directly via wifi but it works. The most elegant solution would be an access point that has Ethernet ports and supports "client mode". However, Ubiquiti still seems to be in the dark about this. I have completely replaced my set with the mesh system from TP-Link. More stable, higher throughput and the devices do not emit any whistling noises when using the WLAN. I switched to the Deco M9 Plus model. Solidly built and each AP/repeater also has Ethernet ports.

No, the mesh router system is only compatible with the supplied "antennas". This is very annoying, as I spent hours on exactly this setup only to receive this message from support. I also cannot confirm the performance of this widely praised system. A simple concrete wall or window pane is enough to block the Signa completely. You also have to bear in mind that the two antennas are supplied with EU plugs. Only after a complaint to Digitec are adapters supplied - then the antennas hang on the wall at a distance of 5-6 cm from the socket. Not really practical or even nice.

Hello Vespagan The router has automatic band steering. In the app it says that if this is switched off, you can manually select the 5GHz or the 2.4GHz. However, I could not select it. I only saw the setting for the bandwidth and the channels of the two frequencies. However, you can set up an "Additional SSID" on the 2.4GHz in the router and the satellites. Greetings Werner

Hello aperture No, you don't need any other devices. Simply switch on the router and plug the satellites into a socket. They are automatically detected, connected and appear in the AmpliFi app. There you can see the signal strength and make certain settings.

When I bought you, it came with 3 plug adapters to CH. These can no longer be removed and protrude. So it's rather ugly because it's twice as deep. Even when the box is "recessed", the German part still sticks out. In general, the thing is not exactly high performance, but it is stable. When there is Wifi activity, the satellites make a slightly perceptible whistling noise if it is very quiet or if you are in the vicinity. Probably cheap parts.

Yes, I can only confirm that. I was also rather sceptical at the beginning whether it would work. But adding a single additional antenna was very easy and went absolutely flawlessly. It can all be done via the app on the mobile phone and was done after two or three minutes.
