Ubiquiti AFi-R AmpliFi Mesh Router System that I have works great. Now I need to somehow have a lan connection in a room that only has wifi. How do I do that

Hello Thomas,

It depends on the device you want to supply with internet.

If it has USB, something like this might work:
D-Link DWA-121 WLAN-Adapter USB (USB)

If it only works with an Ethernet connection:
Powerline adapter from the base station to your room. It's not directly via wifi but it works.

The most elegant solution would be an access point that has Ethernet ports and supports "client mode". However, Ubiquiti still seems to be in the dark about this.

I have completely replaced my set with the mesh system from TP-Link. More stable, higher throughput and the devices do not emit any whistling noises when using the WLAN.

I switched to the Deco M9 Plus model. Solidly built and each AP/repeater also has Ethernet ports.
