Hello, this camera does not support wifi connection directly. It is necessary to connect it using a network cable only.
Yes, this is the version. (TV-IP314PI v2.0R)
Version 5.5.53_180730 of the DS-2CD2042WD-I camera works for me.
Please contact the manufacturer directly for product support and their troubleshooting. -> http://www.trendnet.com/support/contact.asp?country=switzerland
The cameras supplied are version v1.0R. However, they have now been in use for 1 year and work well.
The software integrated in the camera can send alarm images via mail. If the mail account supports push, an immediate transmission works this way. In parallel, the alarm sequences can be transferred to a suitable memory.
I run two 314PL's and two 310PL's outside my home, and I power them with the Linksys POE switch. I don't know very much about this Devolo system, but from what I understand, that delivers LAN to locations around the house or office. Personally, I would just with the injector. You run the LAN cable to the inj., then to the camera. The injector just adds power to two unused wires in the Cat cable to power the camera.
