Hello Community, does anyone have experience with this camera? According to the description, this camera should be able to make snapshots on a NAS. But this does not work. Thanks for your help.

Hello

It works perfectly for me. I proceeded as follows:

- Create a user account (e.g. Webcam) on the NAS.
- Create a folder on the NAS and give it read/write permissions for the user 'Webcam'.
- Log in to the web interface of the camera with admin rights.
- Under Advanced/Storage/Network Drive, create a new network drive with the following settings:
Server address: 192.... = IP address of the NAS in your network
File path: \XXX\ZZ\ (where X and Z correspond to the folder structure on your NAS and point to the folder you have given rights to the user 'Webcam').
Mounting type: SMB/CIFS
User name: Use the user name created on the NAS (in my example 'Webcam') with the corresponding password.
- On the web interface of the camera under Advanced/Storage/HHD-Management select the saved network drive, format it and finish....

Note: Of course, this type of connection only works if the camera and the NAS are in the same network.

Hello

Yes, that is possible. I do this via the scheduled snapshots over an FTP account on the NAS. A picture every 30 minutes. This works quite reliably. I can only change some of the settings on the web interface of the camera with Internet Explorer (but this has improved with a firmware upgrade). I have not tried saving the pictures via a network drive.
