TP-Link Tl-Sm321b
The normal USG does not have SFP ports, so you would need the media converter. With the USG Pro 4 or XG-8 it could be installed directly.
Unfortunately, your question is not entirely clear to me. For questions regarding your order, our customer service can also assist you: https://helpcenter.digitec.ch/hc/en-us/requests/new
According to the instructions for use, this product is compatible with the following models: Managed Gigabit Switch TL-SL3428 Gigabit Web Smart Switch TL-SL2210WEB TL-SL2218WEB TL-SL2428WEB TL-SL2452WEB Gigabit Media Converter MC220L
this is a media converter (ethernet). not sure sunrise and swisscom bring ethernet at home. aren’t they just providing some form of PON?
Hello! No, it no longer needs it. The 5490 has everything built in, so you can connect the fibre optic cable directly.
Your questions can all be answered with YES. Fits. The whole thing is also available as a bundle at Digitec: Fiber7 hardware bundle (3m fibre optic cable)
I have been using the TL-SM321B in an MC220L with an Init7/Fiber7 glass subscription for almost 5 years without any problems. (this combo was also their standard config proposal or hardware bundle offer) So at least in terms of hardware, the question can be answered with YES... I can't say whether Sunrise has tinkered with any of its own specifications, but I think this is less likely to be the case.
yes, this one is compatible, use it yourself with a Ubiquiti switch. But Ubiquiti also has its own SFP adapters. Ubiquiti UF-SM-1G-S: 2er Set SFP Modul (Transceiver)
You'll have to look at the official compatibility list to know what's supported by HP (eg https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c02593948). That doesn't mean it won't work, just that HP won't guarantee it. Most of the time big vendors would actually block SFPs that are not branded by them, however the practice has slowly stopped. Short of getting it and trying it out there's not much you can do to be certain. Not much evidence of anyone else trying this against an HP switch. It doesn't cost a fortune and you can actually return it for most of the money back.
Hi, yes it does work correctly (we use TL-SM321B module in different mikrotik boxes).
TL-SM321B and TL-SM321A are necessary because two different wavelengths are used for RX and TX and this on the same fibre ! I was able to simply switch TL-SM321B to a MICROTIK router (INIT7 - FIBER7 provider).
Yes it will match in the SFP-Port.
