You'll have to look at the official compatibility list to know what's supported by HP (eg https://support.hpe.com/hpsc...). That doesn't mean it won't work, just that HP won't guarantee it. Most of the time big vendors would actually block SFPs that are not branded by them, however the practice has slowly stopped. Short of getting it and trying it out there's not much you can do to be certain. Not much evidence of anyone else trying this against an HP switch. It doesn't cost a fortune and you can actually return it for most of the money back.
