Hello, I have not yet had this error message with C225, but I know something like this from other devices, such as Dashcms. It is very difficult for normal users to find the cause. Sometimes it helps to reformat the SD card with a PC and then repeat the formatting in the target device, in this case C225. If this does not help, the only option is to replace the SD card, which can usually be used in another device without any problems. Good luck

Hello, I have the same problem. I have tried EVERYTHING I have found on TP-Link, YouTube and other forums. Since I have two other Tapo cameras (not the C225) that work without problems, I am convinced that the problem is with the camera or the firmware. No matter which 2.4Ghz network I tried, I always got an error message. I have also used networks with and without a password. The same error message always came up.
Has anyone managed to connect the camera?

When I was travelling today, I got an error message regarding the SanDisk High Endurance, which is in the Tapo C225.
Error message:
" Could not be initialised
This MicroSD card has an abnormal expansion capacity.
Please try a new MicroSD card."
When I got home, there was no more error message.
This SanDisk High Endurance 256 GB MicroSD card was also recommended.
It was formatted in the Tapo C225.
Can anyone tell me anything about this, has this also happened to others here?

The Tapo C225 camera has a tilt function that allows the camera to be rotated vertically. The tilt range of the camera is 60° mechanically, which corresponds to an effective tilt coverage of 149°.
