Yes, the unit is Cl+ ready. It is also written twice in large letters on the packaging. Toshiba is the best TV brand. We've had one with a 140 cm diagonal for 5 years and it leaves nothing to be desired, razor-sharp picture, etc. But it is a great pity that this 47L7463 is now being sold off for 549.00. That speaks against a good brand. I bought it 2 months ago at the 5-day 30% Toshiba promotional price of 580.00 (normal price at the time was 850.00), and now it is supposed to be a discontinued model. I haven't used it yet, so I can't judge yet.

This unit does not have a digital sound output. The built-in tuners can be found in the specifications under "TV tuner". The 42" version is technically the same as this version.
