Since the chair doesn't seem to have been in the Galaxus range for a whole year yet (at least judging by the product reviews), your question will unfortunately remain unanswered.
According to the product description, however, it is an easy-care cover and should therefore be "robust" if you take good care of it.
Yes, the chair has a synchronous mechanism, i.e. the backrest and seat adjust synchronously at the same time.

The chair has 5 castors for carpeted floors. The chair is comfortable, not too hard, not too soft, good value for money. Assembled in 15 minutes.
