The Kreativ-Tonie is not automatically included with the Toniebox 2 and must be purchased separately. Starter sets may include the Kreativ-Tonie, but it is not included when purchasing the Toniebox 2 alone.
No, the Toniebox 2 does not have a connection for wired headphones, but a USB-C connection. Wired headphones only work via Bluetooth or future updates to the Toniebox 2. The Toniebox 1 had a 3.5 mm connection for this.
To record with the Kreativ-Tonie, use the Tonie app or my.tonies.de. First place the Tonie on the Toniebox so that it is recognised and linked to your account. Open the app, select your Kreativ-Tonie, tap on the microphone icon or "Start recording" and speak your story or message directly into the smartphone microphone. Finish the recording, rename it if necessary and upload it - up to 90 minutes of content are possible. Then place the Tonie on the Toniebox again to synchronise the content offline; the box will download it automatically. You need a Toniecloud account and a Wi-Fi connection. For detailed steps, check the app or tonies.com/support.
The Toniebox 2 no longer has a classic headphone socket, but supports Bluetooth headphones. You can connect both the official tonies® Bluetooth headphones and other Bluetooth headphones as soon as the Bluetooth function is activated in the Toniebox. To do this, turn the Toniebox upside down and press and hold one ear for 5 seconds to start pairing mode. As soon as the connection is established, you can listen wirelessly.
It is possible to change the language of the box's system messages (codes, errors, warnings) via the Tonies application, by choosing from the available languages such as German, English or French. However, the language of audio content (stories, music) depends on the Tonies used and cannot be changed directly on the box.
It is not possible to change the language of audio content on the Toniebox itself, but you can change the language of system messages such as code words or error messages. Tonies play in the language they were recorded for, so if you want content in another language, you'll need to use Tonies specific to that language.
The scope of delivery includes the following:
- Toniebox light blue
- Charging station
- Exclusive creative Tonie in light blue
The product images of the Lilo & Stitch Tonie only illustrate that this starter set is easily compatible with other Tonies.
Yes, that's correct. The Tonie Creative included in the Toniebox box is blank when you buy it and can hold up to 90 minutes of personalised content. You can add your own recordings or existing content via the my.tonies.com space or the mytonies application.
I finally managed to charge the battery. The betterie would no longer charge simply by placing the box on the docking station. After several tries, it seems that this works: put the box on the charging station, switch it on and leave it running like that... it charges again.
I asked the Toniebox chat. Here is the answer:
"... However, for licensing reasons, we cannot offer every Tonie in every country, so the available range differs in the different countries. For example, it is currently not possible to order French Tonies to Germany or vice versa, ...
Simply filter our shop by language ... to get to the available Tonies.
Your desired language is not listed? Then we recommend our Creative Tonies. They offer you 90 minutes of free playing time for your own content in the desired language.
...
It is not possible to change the language of a Tonie."
Without guarantee that it works, because I have not tried it. But a smartphone hotspot normally works like a normal WLAN and should therefore also work as a WLAN for the Toniebox. It only needs the WLAN briefly anyway to download the content of new figures once. In the worst case, you could also do this at a friend's house or at the office if the hotspot doesn't work.
