So mine doesn't have a touchscreen either, but I haven't read about this feature anywhere either?

According to the manufacturer, this weather station can be expanded by up to three transmitters (433 MHz). The manufacturer refers to the following transmitter, which is currently (as of 12.05.15) unfortunately not in stock at the supplier: TFA Temperature/Humidity Transmitter 433 MHz
