Apart from the fact that the amp starts on the last source and if you (almost) always use opt anyway?
No, the source buttons do not start the amp.
According to the operating instructions, only devices that play something can be paired via Bluetooth, e.g. a mobile phone from which you want to play music. Therefore, the answer would be no.
