I can play DVDs without any problems. With Blu-Rays, however, it always says that the inserted disc is empty. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

This optical drive does not support MDiscs. Here you will find two alternatives that can write MDiscs: Verbatim Slimline (Blu-ray drive) ASUS BW-16D1H-U PRO (Blu-ray drive)
