Hello, I would like to use this NAS for multimedia (Plex for movies especially) is it sufficient in terms of power? or is it better to take the DS224+ or DS223 normal? thank you for your help.

Good evening! The last 2 digits of the model correspond to the year of production, the DS224+ has 2GB of memory compared to 1GB for the 223j, now if it's just for storing video files, I suppose the DS223j will do the job as on the Synology site Plex is compatible https://www.synology.com/fr-fr/dsm/packages/PlexMediaServer. Can the Western Digital hard disks of a previously used Synology DS212j network storage be inserted into the Synology DS223j empty enclosure in a functioning manner, i.e. are they compatible in that they are recognised and the network storage can still be booted up and used as usual?
