One bottle is supplied, I also bought another bottle.

No, the CO2 cylinder is not included!
Be careful NOT to buy the one with the pink lid, SodaStream CQC CO2 cylinder, because they do not fit (different coupling). The normal CO cylinders are suitable.
The manufacturer recommends using its own bottles Stelton Brus bottle for sparkling water makers . As we have no effective experience with the products, unfortunately I can't tell you anything about compatibility with other bottles.

Unfortunately, we do not currently have a source of supply for the individual bottles. These would have to be obtained from another supplier or manufacturer.

Shouldn't be so strict, have you turned the bubbler round?

The fizzer is stable.
The bottles of the "old" system are compatible, as are inexpensive competitor products.
The Stelton Brus water bubbler is compatible with any standard CO2 exchange cylinder.

It could be that the gas cylinder is not screwed tightly enough into the sparkling water maker. I recommend that you check that the cylinder is screwed in correctly and tightly. Sometimes a cylinder that is not screwed in tightly enough can result in less carbon dioxide being pumped into the bottle and a whistling noise when operating it. Please try screwing the cylinder in even tighter.

I found the right cylinders at Soda Bär. Otherwise, take the appliance with you and ask for the right cylinder.
Not that I know of. I would contact the manufacturer, from what I understand they recommend their own bottles and that they are replaced regularly as the bottles really must be stable and undamaged in any way. My Brus blew up in my face, so, I won't use any water bubbler anymore.
According to the manufacturer, the gas must be added intuitively.

We checked with the supplier and found out that the delivery does not include a carbon dioxide cylinder. The article is compatible with all exchange cylinders of common manufacturers.
