Hello I haven't actually got round to trying the product yet. However, there is nothing to suggest that it is the Matter compatible part. On the Sonoff website, the Matter version has a turquoise colour instead of orange and there is nothing on the packaging to indicate this. Of course, I don't know what digitec will offer in the future.

For a blind switch, the Mini R2 won't be enough because it can only switch one device, but with blinds there are two circuits to control. Make sure there's enough room behind the blind switch to install the relay. Sonoff are quite large compared with other models such as Shelly.

The Sonoff Mini R2 works with WLAN, the Sonoff Zigbee with the Zigbee protocol. It depends on what you want to do and how you want to do it. If, for example, you want to switch your Christmas tree time-controlled and possibly also manually, then the Mini R2 is the simple solution, because you install the eWeLink app on your smartphone, it recognises the R2 and connects it to your WLAN and you can then program it immediately. For this, the Zigbee protocol still needs a "gateway", which manages an independent Zigbee radio network and then connects this to the LAN/WLAN. This is certainly the better solution if you want to operate every lamp in the apartment/house, because you will quickly have 20-50 devices that can overload your WLAN and are also not as energy-efficient as the Zigbee radio protocol. Zigbee is also the radio standard used by Philips Hue or Ikea Tradfri. But if you want to do some simple gimmicks with little effort, I would go for the WLAN version. You can make the Zigbee Philips/Ikea compatible "on the internet" and also equip the WLAN Mini R2 with other software.
