Which glass bottle goes with this product?

Helpful answer

The SodaStream Power is not compatible with glass bottles. It generally uses plastic bottles, as these are better able to withstand the overpressurisation during sparkling. If you are looking for a glass bottle for your sparkling water maker, you could consider models such as the SodaStream DUO or Crystal 2.0, which are specially designed for glass bottles.

All these types of appliances work without electricity. All you have to do is press a button, which then presses the gas cylinder so that the gas can be released. SodaStream tries to be as environmentally friendly as possible. When you buy a new cylinder in a Migros, you can also go to the reception. They will take your empty cylinder and give you a discount on the new one.

It's not related to your question (because I don't know), but I wouldn't recommend it. In my case, it broke after just under a year. The button on top for the gas didn't feel like it was made of high quality and at some point it stopped working. I then bought the SodaStream Crystal model, which has now been working perfectly for 4 years without any problems. It's also available here on digitec and I think it's even a bit cheaper (and with glass bottles). Hope that helps too :)

I had a quick look on the Internet, and your device is probably defective. The best thing to do is to open a warranty claim :)

Yes, it does. The SodaStream needs the gas bottle for the "bubble formation" in the water. The electricity is needed for the automatic volume filling. Which - in my opinion - is very good and works very well. You have a choice of 3 different CO2 levels. Few bubbles. Medium or a lot, according to your taste. And with the push of a button (not like the simpler models, where you determine the amount yourself by the duration of the press), the amount you want is automatically pumped in.
