The change is quite simple. Instructions are also enclosed. The cupboard should be laid down carefully, but with a little help it can also be tilted. You can loosen the upper hinge and then remove the door by lifting it a little. Then simply change the bottom hinge, etc. Good luck 😉
The two appliances are quite similar. However, the Bosch has a total volume of 366 litres compared to 242 litres for the Siemens.

I cannot give any information about the storage time in the event of a malfunction, as we have only been using the unit for 1 week. The volume is not enormous. There is a slight humming noise, but it is hardly disturbing. However, we have the unit in the basement.
Indeed, we have pointed out the error and it should be corrected as soon as possible.
