The product is called "heating actuator" because it is specially designed for controlling heating systems. However, it is not just limited to heating systems. It can also be used to control motorised blinds, shutters or curtains. It supports functions such as calibration for precise opening/closing positions and even slat tilt control for blinds. It is therefore versatile and is also suitable for blind and shutter control systems.
Yes, the actuator can be combined with the Shelly Blu Wall Switch 4. The Shelly Wall Switch 4 is compatible with all Shelly Plus devices, including the Shelly 2PM Gen3, which makes a combination possible.

Shelly 2PM Gen4 (heating actuator)
Yes, you can connect existing push-buttons with latching function to the Shelly 2PM Gen3 to enable local operation of the blinds. The Shelly 2PM Gen3 is designed for controlling roller shutters and blinds with bi-directional motors and can be installed in standard flush-mounted boxes behind push-buttons. This means that manual operation via the buttons is retained, while you can also use smart control via WLAN and app.
The switching actuator does not natively support Apple HomeKit. Only the Shelly Plus 2PM (Gen4) with Matter compatibility is currently intended for integration into Apple HomeKit, which can be connected via a Matter hub. The 2PM Gen3 currently has no official HomeKit firmware or native support.
Although there are unofficial ways to integrate older Shelly devices into HomeKit via third-party software such as Homebridge, this is not official and requires additional effort. The 2PM Gen3 is not suitable for direct and official HomeKit integration.
