Hello you I don't think it matters. The scooter can be used without registration anyway, because it only goes 20 km / H.
With the same connection as for the car an extension is included 👌
Hello, I think it will also be available in Switzerland.
Here are some points I have learned from personal experience: Each country has its own legislation regarding speed and software for electric scooters. Germany (and Switzerland) are relatively restrictive and only allow 20 km/h, no flashing brake lights and no cruise control (to mention a few examples). But of course, since the scooter is always produced the same way, these restrictions take place in the software. When you connect your app for the first time, you will be asked for your country (the corresponding settings are then automatically applied) - here are some examples: Germany/Switzerland: max. 20 km/h, Cruise control: No, Brake lights: No World/Worldwide (is also an option): max. 25 km/h, cruise control: Yes, Brake lights: Yes America: max. 30 km/h - all permitted. If you have selected a country and want to change it afterwards, you can do this via "hacker apps". But be careful - when you connect for the first time, the app asks you to update the firmware on the scooter. This update makes it much more difficult to change anything afterwards. Which makes sense, since changing these settings is strictly speaking illegal. Personally, I chose the Worldwide option. This is because cruise control was a purchase criterion for me and because 20 km/h is more dangerous than 25 km/h in my opinion. This is simply because the speed limit for most e-transports is 25 km/h. So, if you are travelling at 20 km/h, you are not allowed to drive at that speed. So if you're driving at 20 km/h yourself, you're constantly having the dubious pleasure of breakneck overtaking manoeuvres. That was simply too dangerous for me on the road. Everyone has to know for themselves. If you get stopped and your scooter is not limited to 20 km/h, you're in trouble.
Hello, yes the insurance was possible without any problems with the enclosed documents!
It is one of the best investment that I made. It is so strong and reliable. It goes only 20km/hour but it is more than enough to go around with my safety in mind. You will not regret buying this. It’s heavy to carry around Thats for sure but that is why it is steady when driving too.
Licensed for both countries, as it only drives 20 kmh (throttled). With a software update or in other EU countries, it can also drive 30 kmh, but then it is illegal in Switzerland.
Hey Sabrina I am very happy with the acceleration. The throttle can be pressed down continuously, and it is possible to accelerate more or less. The Segway G30D II has 3 different modes. Sport, D and Eco. In Sport mode, it accelerates quite quickly and especially when the road is a bit bumpy, it is difficult to accelerate less quickly, simply because the thumb trembles due to the vibration. On the other hand, you can travel quickly. In Eco mode, the scooter travels a maximum of 15 km/h and accelerates very slowly. This mode is therefore very suitable for keeping up with pedestrians/adapting to their speed. Mode D is something in between. The G30D has 2 brakes. The rear brake cannot be operated by the driver, but is applied as soon as the driver stops accelerating. This recharges the battery. In the app, you can set how strong this feedback brake is. Personally, I always have it on maximum, so the battery is charged more and the 2 brake (front) wears less. However, you should simply try this out on a straight stretch of road to see which level you feel most comfortable with. The front brake is a normal drum brake, but well designed so that the wheel does not lock and slip when braking hard. Personally, I find the G30D II the best scooter I have ever ridden. The only disadvantage is that it is very heavy. On the other hand, it has a very long range and the sophisticated battery management software makes optimum use of it. It also accelerates really well when you get up to speed and hardly loses any speed. Another important thing when buying: When downloading the Segway app, a software update for the scooter is suggested. When you install this, the latest German road traffic regulations are implemented - i.e. the scooter no longer has cruise control, the rear light brake no longer flashes and you can no longer access the scooter with external apps (if you want to). Therefore, if you prefer these features, simply do not update.
Hello, yes it can, there is a seat from Ninebot itself that is top quality and costs around 120.

Hi, have registered the scooters normally in Germany. No problems.
Digitec (or any other Swiss dealer) is obliged to supply electrical appliances with a Swiss plug. If the appliance is supplied with a foreign plug, a suitable replacement cable should be supplied if the mains cable is pluggable or alternatively if the mains cable is permanently connected, a suitable adapter should be supplied. If the appliance is delivered without a suitable plug, complain to the customer service and insist on a cable or an adapter, free of charge.
