It is actually not permitted in Switzerland to sell electrical equipment without a suitable Swiss plug. All electrical test marks must also be present on the appliance, such as the CE mark. see also quote from SRF: https://www.srf.ch/sendungen/kassensturz-espresso/themen/konsum/schweizer-elektrogeraete-brauchen-schweizer-stecker You have to file a complaint. Then Digitec will also be held responsible. By the way, the importer (i.e. Digitec) is responsible for ensuring that all appliances imported into Switzerland comply with the legal requirements. All other online retailers always supply a Swiss mains cable without being asked to do so. By the way, I did not receive a cable with a Swiss plug either.

Unpleasant, especially because of the avoidable electrical waste, but really not such a drama! The power supply has an IEC socket, so any standard computer power cable will fit. And you can get them for less than 3 francs at Conrad.

Yes, the power supply fits from the connections her👍🏻 The question is whether you need a 750W or a weaker/stronger one. There are tools such as this one: https://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator You can enter all the components and calculate approximately how much juice you will need and then choose the power supply accordingly.

Have you by any chance updated your BIOS or set it to the latest version? Because that was the problem for me, please calculate if your computer really needs 1000W ? For further questions you can write me on YouTube @DirtysDevs

NVIDIA recommends an 850 Watt PSU for the Founder version. However, ASUS already recommends at least 1000 watts for the 3090, if you connect it to one of the newer i9 or Ryzen 9 and it is generally assumed that some versions of the 4090 will need more power than the Founders version. In short: For the absolute best killer gamer PC of the year 2023, you might rather spend an extra 50 francs for a 1200 watt PSU. But if you just want to build a good gamer PC with a Ryzen 7 or something and then put a Founders Edition 4090 in it, that's completely enough.

1. complain to customer service and claim your right (see below). 2. write a product review and mention the problem - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Digitec is obliged to supply electrical appliances with a Swiss plug. If the appliance comes with a foreign plug, a suitable replacement cable should be supplied if the mains cable is pluggable or alternatively if the mains cable is permanently connected, a suitable adapter should be supplied. If the appliance is delivered without a suitable plug, complain to the customer service and insist on a cable or an adapter, free of charge. Yes, that's enough - an RTX 3080 needs at least a 750 watt power supply. I would recommend an 850 watt power supply in case you ever install new components that need even more power.

Hi! Here you are asking other customers. For availability questions, you should contact customer service directly. As for the RTX 3080 support: This power supply has plenty of power and enough PCI power connectors to support all version of RTX 3080 I've seen presented so far. These are all 6/8 pin connectors, so if you are hoping to get the Founder's Edition of RTX 3080 with the new 12-pin connector, you'll need to use the convertor (12-pin to 2x 8-pin) included with the GPU. That is, no 12-pin connector is included with this power supply. (At least that was the situation when I got mine 2 weeks ago.)

750w should be enough, although I have read in various places that a minimum of 850w is recommended. You may need to buy a 12-pin PCIe molex cable. There is an adapter included (as I understand it), but it's relatively ugly and messes up cable management. There are already "Nvidia RTX Certified" PSUs. But I don't know if they are already available.

A power supply unit does not have a PCI-E connection. At most, it has power connections for devices that have a PCI-E interface (graphics card, for example). To see if your power connector is included, take a look at the cable specification at the bottom of the homepage: https://seasonic.com/focus-gx?__cf_chl_jschl_tk__=e6397a2be57d25ac5aaec0f522c3ec20f006876d-1593176172-0-ARzJdQyJZV9FxOpOkfE7empQlD-WIfS2r_gBSBtLLt_NdfbMYycX1Kjvm91YLCEvTMfNMIrgNM0-8DyTapxJQ1lJpI6s2Rj9yQs7UZW6BJ-2GHbjgFPCQsD3-ccyo0b8xwQCn59OnW4UiV5v-667VtJD7kiEj7OAvigaRxn43QdYZZcR6mYVIPjBTpyaaY_KgwBo-_8Jfe_5o7krQWzih65fH5bQKxnPnmJEMNdDPhQypmpyQo6b9GDhXtoySgOsPQBFYkPex7nTTIgN08IvC7AyeF4wiPz19o0I8-tfzolo#specification
