I would be worried. Maybe it's better to get a new one, the data backup is already something important. HDs can sometimes give up the ghost.

The size of the disk is too big and the console will not be able to read it unfortunately. You have to take 8Tb maximum with usb 3.0 minimum, if you want it to work :)

According to the description, it comes with a power supply unit. Basically, 3.5" drives (like the one built here) need a power supply unit. Until now, I have only seen 2.5" drives without power supply units :-)
