I ran this item and it had the clear disc visible in the pictures, which I really like. When I ordered the exact same item again, it had no disc and the seller informed me that sometimes the pictures are not correct. Does this mean that there are no longer any with a disc?

There should already be a disc at the front, the cover is waterproof and must not have any openings. So you must have received a defective product, I'm very sorry about that.
