Does anyone have experience with DLNA from a Synology NAS? Is it possible to select a specific audio track during playback for films with multiple audio tracks stored on the NAS?

Hello, I miss the Amazon Prime video app on this player. It is neither preinstalled nor can it be found via the search function. The app is available on the Smart TV (LG). Can anyone help? Thanks a lot

Hello Imhotep, I don't have a definite answer to this but I could imagine that it's country-specific... Upscaling only affects content that does not offer 4K. With 4K Ultra HD blurays or content via USB, the signal is output natively.

I have the player connected to a synology nas. Every now and then the film doesn't load or runs for 2-5 seconds, but it works on the mobile phone. Does the wifi fluctuate so much or does the player have problems?

I have connected this player with LAN and there is no problem streaming from the NAS (QNAP). I have now tested it with wifi and it also works. With Full HD videos it runs without problems, with 4K video I had a short dropout, but then there was no problem during playback (router is in the same room). I think you are using a modern router that also provides the 5G network, which is the first choice for media streaming. The wifi adapter of the UBD-K8500 can handle it. Nevertheless, you should try to connect the player via LAN because of the high data volumes or use powerline adapters as an option. You probably have a 4K TV that also supports streaming - just try it out, then you won't need to take the diversions via the player.

Nowhere is there any reference to a beamer - instead of TV. Does this disc player fit with the Acer P5530 (DLP, Full HD, 1.13 - 1.47 :1, 4000lm)? What additional connection cables does it need? (HDMI what type or other?) Thanks for your help!

The picture from the Bluray player can be displayed on any device (TV, beamer, monitor, etc.) with an HDMI input. All you need is an HDMI cable.

Can UHD films be played back smoothly in 50p (H265 with a max. bit rate of 70 Mbps) via the USB input? (Reason for the question: Nowhere in the technical specifications is 50p mentioned and there is no information about the bandwidth).

Yes, you can do it without any problems, you just need a 3.0 usb so that the transfer rate is guaranteed.

It depends on the medium/file format you want to play. With 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, the content is "real 4K". So when buying blurays, look for the indication "4K Ultra HD", such as with the following product: Deadpool 4K

According to the respective question in german: UHD Blurays are codefree, Blurays are region B and DVDs are region 2.
