UPC also offers a Digicard that can be used on the TV without a setup box. However, not all PayTV channels (e.g. Teleclub or Sky) may be available with it. Zattoo and Teleboy should be available as TV apps on the TV.
Theoretically and technically, this should actually be possible by means of a WLAN connection. But then you would only have had access to apps, but not to any other external sources. For me personally, that would be too bad with such a good TV. Unfortunately, this does not actually work. I tested it myself with my QE65Q7F. When you unplug the One Connect Box, it always tells you to reconnect it. Access to the app menu and any other options is not possible. It looks like the One Connect Box is the second heart of the TV and the processor of the TV alone is not sufficient for this. But it still makes sense, because the TV is quite thin and therefore all connections (except for power, where the TV and the box each need a socket) have been moved externally to the One Connect Box.
It can handle high dynamic ranges in HDR10 and HLG ( Hybrid Log-Gamma ). Dolby Vision is not supported, but Samsung is working on its own metadata-friendly alternative called HDR10 +. Excerpt from the review at http://www.trustedreviews.com/reviews/samsung-q7 very good review by the way ;)
It depends on the firmware of the modules
